The Indiana Conference for Women is happening on Tuesday, November 7. No big deal, right? Wrong. There are many great, unique things happening at this event, including Caitlin pitching tend.ly to a panel of entrepreneurship experts – but we’ll get to that later.
The conference has been around since 2009, when Deborah Collins and Billie Dragoo set its focus on “the building of a strong ecosystem within the state [of Indiana] that helps women build careers, create companies, and experience lives that are rewarding, healthy, and happy.” They’ve been going strong from the start, and is the largest gathering of professional and women entrepreneurs in the Midwest.
Here at tend.ly, we can very much relate with wanting women (and men) to have lives that are “rewarding, healthy, and happy.” It’s what we wish for our own customers, and it’s what we wish for ourselves. So it’s a no-brainer that an event helping women to grow professionally and personally would be a fit for us.
And, lucky for us, the ICFW decided we’re a fit for their pitch competition! Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., Caitlin will talk about tend.ly – who we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re going. She’s in great company, too. Read about all the women pitching their companies here.
Oh, let’s not forget the amazing line up of special guests, presenters, and panel presentations. Seriously, we can’t wait for this conference – to learn, to get inspired, to connect.
